I inherited my wife

My late father's old friend had a daughter whom he thought was slow. She wasn't just really quiet and shy. He had made my father her guardian in case something happened to him. But my father passed away first; I then became the backup plan. On his deathbed, he asked me to take care of his daughter. I was already her legal guardian in case he passed away. I was well known to the daughter, and she had no problem with me looking after her finances. Over time, we became a lot closer than lovers and finally married two years after her father's passing. So, in a way, I inherited my wife.
