Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about An Erotic Story
Is the site free?
Yes, all stories are completely free and no registration is required, either for reading or for writing.
How can I publish a story?
You can submit your story using the submission form on the write your story page. After a review it will be published.
Can I request removal of my story?
Yes, you can remove your story directly from the author control panel, or you can request removal by contacting us via the Contact page.
Does the site contain content involving minors?
Absolutely not. The site is firmly opposed to any content involving minors. Stories must not involve anyone under 18 years of age.
Can I publish a story anonymously?
Yes, you can use a pen name when submitting. No real personal information is required.
Is there a length limit for stories?
There is no maximum length. Both short stories and longer novels are welcome, as long as the content respects the site guidelines.
How is content moderated?
Every submitted story is reviewed before publication. The site aims not to censor any kind of story, as long as it is genuinely a narrative piece, with the exception of any content involving minors.
How can I report content that violates the site rules?
At the bottom of every story you will find the link "Report abuse in this erotic story". Clicking it will open a report form; the report can be completely anonymous.
I found my content published without my consent — how can I report it?
You can report the copyright violation from the Copyright page. We will review the report and remove the content as quickly as possible.
I submitted a story but it has not been published yet — what does that mean?
Manual review usually takes no more than 24 hours from submission. Within that timeframe the story is most likely simply in the review queue.
Can I post an advertisement?
No, we publish erotic stories only.
The username is already taken — what does that mean?
It means another author has already registered with that pseudonym. If the username is yours, please check for spaces and capitalisation and make sure the email address associated with the name is the same one you used before. Otherwise, simply choose a different name: you can add a number, vary the spelling, or use an alternative nickname. Your username is not linked to your real identity, so you are free to pick any variation you like.
What is the polish grade and how is it calculated?
The polish grade measures the grammatical and spelling quality of a story. It is calculated automatically by scanning the text for grammar mistakes and typos: the more errors there are relative to the length of the text, the lower the score. The result is expressed as a letter grade from A+ (almost error-free) to F (many errors). The grade does not judge style or creativity — only the formal care put into the writing.
