Abandoned Family

I (41) own an apartment building I converted from a warehouse. One of my tenants' husbands abandoned her (28) and her child (3). He disappeared, and she was left trying to pay her rent and put food on the table. I gave her a job cleaning my apartment to help out. Then she lost her other job due to cutbacks. She told me she would have to sell herself to survive. I replied I'll buy her and after she recovered from the shock. We decided on an agreement; I wasn't interested in marriage or a relationship. I also didn't want quick sex; I wanted what I called the whole package. We would bathe together and take our time, and I doubled her cleaning pay. Except it was now off the books (no Tax); she and her child were now on my medical insurance, and their daily needs were provided for by me. Her pay was hers to save. After we had become regular lovers, I took them on a holiday, and we acted like a family. She divorced her husband due to abandonment and got sole custody; I became the legal guardian of the child just in case something happened to the mother. But otherwise, we are just like a regular family. My first desire to not to get too involved has failed, as I have asked her to marry me. She has accepted.
