I like a challenge

A bookish girl at my workplace never dated any of the males working there, nor females either as some had suggested she was a lesbian. Just didn't seem to date anybody, I like a challenge and decided to at least get out on a date, hopefully bed her as icing on the cake as well. First, I got to know her better, I arranged for her to be assigned to me as an assistant on a project. Usually out of her employment scope, but I said the company wants every employee to have as many skills as possible, so they have backup when needed. So. HR duly assigned her to me, at first, I was all work. But got closer to her friendship wise, didn't try to ask for a date at the time. The project completed moved on to the next, I again asked for her as my assistant. Citing we worked well together and she had shown she could do the work. The project meant travelling, but only a day at a time fly out in the morning back in the evening. Never overnight, I finally did ask her out on a date and got a rejection. But it was because she had to attend a reunion, so I said you've a boyfriend. No, I'm going alone was her reply, seeing an opening I offered to escort her to her reunion. It was local and so no travelling involved. We had a great time at her reunion, and I got to actually date the following week. Which led to more dates and then started our sexual relationship. Which led to us marrying last November and she is now pregnant with our first child (boy). I started trying to date her as a challenge to myself, succeeded and also found my perfect soulmate. I've also been promoted and with it came right to a personal assistant, which my now wife has fulfilled.
