A prank got me married

Always liked playing pranks growing up and decided to prank an old friend 23 for Halloween in 2024. She was into the occult and referred to herself as a white witch. I'm just over 2years older and had started my chosen career. As part of my career, I dealt with movie props as in organizing their production. Not an actual part of the film making just in getting what they required for the production. Having met my old friend, the Sunday before and then going to a prop making company the next day I saw them making books look really old and valuable looking. I'd been thinking of pranking my old friend for the upcoming Halloween. An idea crystalized in my head, I didn't act on it then and there as I needed to prepare first. I started downloading old occult site and organizing them into a book format. I've always thought my friend was hot, but she wasn't into dating wanting to stay a virgin for purity of her power or some such reason. So, I added a paragraph about gaining extra power thru sex with your chosen opposite. Naming the opposite as a trusted person of long association, a trust person who you could rely on. I barely made that connection at best, so I added giver of a great gift. Meaning the book, I had the company make up an authentic looking old book chard at the edges so I could say the church had tried to burn it and failed. Using the book contents, I'd made up and printed in an old English style. A week before Halloween I met her again and gave her the book, it really looked the part, and she thought to be real. Told her I'd found it when out of town at an old book shop. She was happy with the book a few days later she rang me asked what I was doing for Halloween, I'd nothing planned just going wing it as they say. She asked me to join her for Halloween and asked me to get the Friday off. No real reason stated, but I was owed a couple of days, so I got the Thursday and Friday off. Meeting we drove to her family's lakeside cabin; on arrival it was soon apparent we were to be alone. At first, I thought she was pulling a reverse prank, and she would play along until I fell for it. But she wasn't, she had fell for it hook line and sinker as they. She said she had prepared everything for the ritual; at midnight she wanted me to take her virginity. It finally dawned on me she'd fallen for it hook line and sinker. When she got completely naked, I hadn't no condoms myself she said we didn't need them I assumed wrongly she had taken all precautions herself, she hadn't. We had sex twice and again in the morning. She didn't get any extra powers, but she did get pregnant, I hadn't said anything at the lake as I hoped for more sex. Later on, when had gotten pregnant, I wasn't game enough to tell her or her family it was a Halloween prank. Her father and brothers are part a militia and I didn't want to end up as a live target. Marrying her was my best option at the time and turned out to be best decision I've ever made. She still is hoping to become a full white witch but puts more effort in to raising our son named after her father. She is willing to provide sex almost anytime I want it, which is great and she takes no precautions still. The book is still read by her quite a bit. I've said often that the church had messed with everything occult wise and they may have printed the book to mislead people. It's a cover story in case she finds out the book is fake. I've given up pranking.
