I bought my Niece

I'm the youngest of four children, given up for adoption at 1 year old, have no memory of my parents or siblings. I was 14 when my parents died about six months apart, too much drinking, drugs and smoking their hearts stopped working. My siblings two brothers and the oldest a sister didn't remember having another brother. My brother escaped the family by enlisting, one the younger died on deployment and the other still in the navy. My sister stayed and followed our parent's lifestyle more or less pregnant at 16. Married a loser like our mother had and took up drinking, doing drugs and smoking. She only had one child a daughter, in and out of state care. Rarely with her parents, anyway by the time I found out about my family I was 20 and my sister 13 years older than me. My adopted parents were rich and I'd every chance in life anyone could get, they were in their forties when they adopted me and gave me a wonderful life. My adopted father passed away a year later my adopted mother had cancer and followed him 11months later. I inherited everything and was in my final year of college, I'd started a searching for my family. The news my parents had died wasn't really surprising, I already knew about their overuse of drugs, alcohol and tobacco. The loss of a brother was a shock; my other brother didn't want anything to do with the family at all. So, refuse to even meet me, my sister wasn't with it when I met her. Her husband passed out from drugs, only my niece was okay with meeting albeit in state care again where I was able to meet her. She was really shy and timid, and it wasn't surprising due to her current lifestyle. Due to be returned for another trail with her parents who seemed really wanting to have her again. Seeing my sister again, she didn't remember our first meeting and that's how I found out they were going to sell their daughter when they got her back again. They both thought I was there interested in buying her from them. They wanted $10,000, not interested at all in what I would do with her. I realized I'd to save my niece. So, agreed to buy her straight away, I contacted my lawyers and had them draw up guardianship papers. Paid my sister the money only after both had signed the papers making my niece's legal guardian. After my niece was returned, I contacted the child welfare telling them my sister had made me my niece's legal guardian. They seemed relieved by the news, of course they done background checks which I passed easily. Now legally guardian to my niece, I took her to my home in another state. Started to give her a better life than she had ever had before. She bonded with me, became like my shadow, her schooling hadn't been good and so no college for her. But she could still have a great life without going to college. I'd become her guardian in 2020 and in 2025 she still stayed very close to me. Now 22 she could look after herself if she wanted too, but preferred being close to me and letting me make all the decisions in life for her. I hadn't a girlfriend and would attend functions with my niece, never told anybody anything about our relationship. So, people assumed we were dating and, in a relationship. When asked about us marrying last September, I thought it a great idea. So, I asked my niece to marry me. As it turned out I'm a stepbrother to my sister not the same father. I wasn't surprised by the news I didn't look like my father photo, most likely the reason I was adopted out. We married in Rhode Island outside of our home state, as of last week my niece/wife is pregnant to me and is very happy being my wife. Nothing surprises me, now about my family history.
