Big Trouble in Little Pleasantville: A Big Wolf On Campus Adventure.

Corey and Oats were always up for all sorts of crazy adventures together and even went on some scary ones with their owner/friend Mel, Mel loved monsters and transformations and she liked the idea of being turned into different forms. One early afternoon the duo was on Youtube watching Big Wolf On Campus, Big Wolf of course was a tv show that aired in 1999 and it was a horror/comedy action show.

The protagonist was a werewolf but he wasn’t a typical werewolf, he was a heroic werewolf who fought villains in the hometown he lived - which was Pleasantville, USA. Now it was never entirely certain where Pleasantville was because there are numerous towns in the USA alone with that name, but it was a town in America. And he wasn’t alone when it came to his adventures either, he had a best friend named Merton, a lovable goth who was an expert on monsters and there was also Lori Baxter.

Mel got into werecreatures and horror because of that show and since she had rediscovered it on Youtube she was getting into it again and she had found it still held up. ‘Can we go on an adventure that is themed around it since you have been teasing us about it for so long?’ ‘Sure we can, follow me.’ ‘Yaaay.’

The duo entered the bedroom with Mel, Mel looked around for a magical item that she could use and she found what appeared to be a special key of sorts which she used to gain access to a passageway, as Corey and Oats followed as she went through into the passageway, after entering through said passageway they had arrived in the town of Pleasantville.

Corey and Oats thought everything looked perfectly normal in Pleasantville despite being a town that was plagued with supernatural beings on an almost regular basis. The duo looked around and found an apartment that they could hang out along with Mel, when they got into their apartment, they looked around and set things up.

The covid microbe decided to go and get some snacks for a bit before noticing something unusual was happening, as what appeared to be latin chanting was heard in the room next to theirs.

“Did you hear that?”

“Yeah…”

“Sounds like a demonic ritual going on.”

‘Let’s investigate.’ Corey, Mel and Oats decided to investigate what was going on in the room next to theirs, going down the hallway and looking through the windows, seeing what appeared to be a horde of masked figures with horns performing a ritual on a group of college students…’We have to stop those guys.’ ‘Good thinking.’

Corey spun around and shot some spikes in the direction of the door which broke the door down, and Oats trotted in and rescued some of the students, but just then Mel was surprised by the arrival of Tommy Dawkins and Merton Dingle. Mel had met Merton and Tommy before, but Corey and Oats hadn’t. ‘Didn’t expect you guys to show up early to this.’ ‘We were already on the case before..’

‘Corey, Oats…I want you to meet Tommy and Merton.’ ‘Hello you two, we’re friends of Mel and we are glad to meet you.’ After being introduced to Tommy and Merton, the duo decided to team up with them and they fought off some possessed college students together. ‘This ritual is very much reminiscent of Exorcist 3.’ ‘What happened?’ ‘Well it didn’t do so well compared to the original that came before it.’

Merton explained the plot of Exorcist 3, Mel recognized this as a running joke in the show where Merton would compare the supernatural situation to a movie he saw and Tommy would aks what happened, only for Merton to well misunderstand the meaning of the question before explaining the plot of the movie.

Tommy wolfed out and turned into his werewolf form and used his skills to fight off a demon possessed student and he performed some moves as he battled them, Lori Baxter also joined in. The duo helped the heroic werewolf and his companions battle the demons.

One of the college students attempted to grab Mel only for Mel to finish him off and to perform a spell which returned all the possessed students back to normal as Oats rescued the remaining students. The main demon was furious to find that his plan had been foiled.

Mel gestured over to Tommy and the two of them worked together along with Merton, and the once possessed students were thankful for their heroism. Mel defeated the head demon with Tommy’s help and a portal appealed which sent the head demon back to where he came from.

After the villainous head demon had been defeated, the duo hung out with Tommy, Merton and Lori and they had a wonderful time, an hour later Mel gestured to them it was time to go home and they followed her, going back through the passageway and going through another one, that other one took them all back home to Nile Road.

That afternoon when they arrived back home, they had afternoon tea in the lounge, told all the microbes and unicorns about their adventure and played games. An hour later they were called in for dinner, and an hour after dinner they emailed Jill about their adventure.

They had a karaoke session after that followed by a game session, and after their game session was over they went into the bedroom and got ready for bed with Oats putting on his pink nightgown and Corey putting on his bat pajamas, they went to go brush their teeth an hour later before relaxing.

The duo had a relaxation session with Mel an hour later before they picked out a friend to snuggle up with them, when it was time to get into bed they all gathered into bed with Pinkie the unicorn to keep them warm as they all drifted off to sleep and their dreams fuelled another adventure. In this adventure, they were living next door to Tommy, Merton and Lori along with Mel and they were keeping Pleasantville safe from supernatural antagonists, and that is where our story ends for tonight but please stay tuned for more.
