The Madcap Love Affair of Piff and Tangie.

Corey and Oats had many friends and one friend that always got lots of attention was Piff..Piff was a pufferfish, not just any pufferfish but a Japanese one who was mischievous and had his own oddball personality and cheeky quirks that made him special. He was a jokester, he was a poet, he was a goofball and he often was the funnyman in the group - compared to some of his friends who were for the most part serious but had their moments.

Piff was also a flirt and was known for having many affairs and misadventures, he was a passionate lover despite being a fish - except he often would get a new fish love interest in each misadventure he had, sometimes he’d keep them for more than a week and ones he loved the most he’d keep them for life.

One fish he had his eye on was Tangie, a cute orange and green fish..he flirted with her and whispered secrets to her, often asking to have ‘affairs’ with her. She acted oblivious and like she didn’t know what he meant. ‘An eclair?’ ‘No, not eclairs. Affairs.’ ‘A fun fair?’ ‘No, Tangie, an affair.’

He wanted to be with her so badly and his idea was to date her…she giggled and pretended not to know what he was talking about but she really did know. ‘Now Piffy, you should know that I am not that kind of fish.’ ‘Come on, don’t tell me you wouldn’t like a romantic trip to an oriental garden.’

She blushed and thought for a little bit, she wanted to get to know Piff a bit more and vice versa, so Piff went to gather some magic from the bedbox and asked Corey and Oats to pick out some special places they could all go to. Using the magic, the duo conjured up a special fish themed adventure for the loving love-fish.

They jumped through a portal and the first place they all explored was Kelly Tarlton’s, where Piff showed Tangie all his fish friends and told her fish facts and stories. They had a lovely lunch together at the cafe.

Afterwards they went shopping together at Glenfield mall and picked out some toys to play with at Toyworld, they even looked at some things in Farmers and EB Games before going on another adventure, this time to a special underwater themed disco.

Piff and Tangie swam into the disco and performed a dance together, the former using his famous fish dance moves to impress her and he swung her around, which made her laugh and they shared a kiss. They shared some seaweed chips together as well.

After that they went through a tunnel that took them to a special karaoke bar where Piff performed his favorite song for her which was Oyoge Taiyaki-kun. He kissed her and presented her with an artpiece he made himself. ‘You know when I first met you Piff, I thought you were trying to put the moves on me but now I know you really love me.’ ‘I’d defend your honor any day.’

They bonded and cuddled before having afternoon tea and taking part in a gaming session, Piff smiled and told Tangie even though he had dated numerous other fish, there was only one fish he loved the most and that was her.

She giggled and responded…’I love you too, Piffy.’ ‘Did you just call me Piffy?’ ‘Why yes, you are my piffy wiffikins.’ ‘Oooh, you already have a cute name for me!’ Piff blushed as he was kissed by Tangie. ‘Yes, because you are such a cute fish.’ ‘I know, all lady fish cannot resist the charm of a pufferfish.’

Piff smiled as the two of them swam around for a couple of hours going on a romantic date night as Oats and Corey and Mel all helped, an hour later Mel summoned them back to the starting point. After reaching the starting point they all jumped on a platform and leaped through a portal which took them all the way back to Nile Road.

The fish couple made their dating announcement to all the microbes and fish in attendance, and they all had dinner together and played games, afterwards Piff went on a fishing trip and showed Tangie his collections, she was very impressed.

After that they had a karaoke session and after their karaoke session they emailed Jill about their adventure, before ending their fun session with a relaxing game time. When it was all over they all got ready for bed in the bedroom.

Corey put on his bat pajamas as Oats put on a pink nightgown and Piff put on a red sleeping robe and whispered some secrets to Tangie, secrets that only the duo and Mel knew but the others could make out him saying ‘bathtub’ ‘soap’ and ‘perfume’ and ‘big screen tv’. ‘Oh Piff, you are a real casanova!’

They all brushed their teeth and picked out pals to snuggle up with and they all said good night to each-other as they jumped into bed and Anglo turned off the light. When they all drifted off to sleep, they all had sweet dreams.

Piff had romantic dreams of being with Tangie, in his dream he was in a bathtub with her and they were sharing seaweed chips and laughing and being silly together, and they even kissed. ‘Oh Piffykins, I love you.’ ‘And I love you too, Tangie.’

And so their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up so stay tuned.
