Over the past week things had gotten quite scary for the duo and their friends including Mel, it all started last Tuesday where Mel and Hyacinth both found themselves being caught up in their scariest (well second scariest) online experience to date when both of them fell victim to a scammer who posed as Mel to fool people but of course the villain had been caught and brought to justice and Mel was now back in the Deviantart Verse and back in Deviantart City with all her friends.



Of course Piff knew all along something was up and helped her in the best way that he could and now he was very much ready to go on another Deviantart adventure with all of his friends, Mel had been a citizen of that virtual city for 14 years and so had Nathan, who initially had trouble finding what his identity in that universe would be, going through multiple different avatar forms and even going through a phrase where he impersonated the Werejohncandy character Chumsley who was part of his original ‘monster gang’ universe with all of the original monster characters who were part of said gang, being made fun of just for liking John Candy and for having a character who was based on him and going through a very traumatic experience that was thankfully non-canon since it took part in a twisted alternate universe known as the Daloli-verse.



He had since then lost many companion characters due to this and even had to abandon several projects due to this. One of the mini-series he did before introducing Mel as a character was known as the ‘Hessian Hex mini-series’ which was a series about his character being cursed to become the Hessian Horseman, in the original mini-series he had a companion character who may have had the appearance and form of a humanoid character but who was actually an alien and towards the end of the original mini-series, this character revealed themselves to not be human and to be an alien and they were taken back to their home planet, of course the original mini-series was so open ended that the fans had to make their own ending for it. Which of course led to a remake of the mini-series that retconned the original companion character out of the storyline in general, and introduced a new one. (see ‘Deviantart Verse Anniversary Special’ and ‘Walken in The Shadows for more)



Mel of course had been very proud to be a resident and even threw a 14 year anniversary special last year with all of her friends by taking them on a trip to her very own Deviantart Verse museum which had sections based on all of her and Nathan’s adventures in that universe including the awkward ‘Drmusic2’ era, and even before Corey and Oats had met, and now that the second scariest online thing to happen to her had come to an end it was time for her to take her friends on another Deviantart Verse adventure.



So that day after morning tea she gathered them all into the lounge as Mel activated a combination on the keyboard which opened up a portal in the middle of the screen - they all jumped through the screen and into the portal which took them all the way into the online universe select screen area which had all of the online universes, so they chose the Deviantart portal and jumped through it, arriving in Deviantart City which was where they began their exploration.



Since Mel and her friends had become honorary members of the Deviantart City police department and the ban on NSFW content, the city had become a lot safer and easier to live in, as Corey and Oats navigated the area and checked out the various different places, Mel took them to the entrance of the museum that she had taken them before which was the museum where all of her and Nathan’s Deviantart Verse adventures were displayed.



They walked through all the exhibits including the ones showcasing the different eras of the shared adventures including back when Nathan had his very own gang of heroic monsters and his own monster universe series, Nathan’s different avatar forms which were all depicted on a screen, a gallery dedicated to the various older projects that both of them did including a screen showing the original Hessian Hex mini-series and a screen showing the remake.



There was also a tribute/memorial gallery of all the co-stars and companions Mel had throughout the years including former Nile Road staff such as Neive, Becka, Marie, Cathy, Jess and Ysa and they were even screens depicting scenes from both the pre-nile road era and the current era. ‘Hey Drmusic, are you still a lolicon?’ A random enemy creature blurted out. ‘Mommy, who is this weirdo and why is he asking you about whether or not you have an attraction to kid characters?’ ‘He is just a left-over from that completely non-canon universe, nobody took the daloli-verse seriously in the real online universe yet in the twisted parody universe they take themselves too seriously to the point of being a cult.’



“Must have been before I joined the gang.”



“That’s right Corey.”



“Very much just a non-canon universe parody of Mel’s pre-nile road adventures.”



“Well he is certainly rude if he thinks Mel has a thing for children.”



“Yeah, that non-canon event doesn’t count, so why does he still remember it?”



‘Let him handle him.’ Piff responded as he used some magic to teach the random enemy creature a lesson, turning him into various things including an onion, which made him laugh. ‘Why did you just morph me into an onion?’ ‘Because onions are funny to me.’ Mel showcased the room focusing on the gangs she had before the squishmallows and snackles which included the mushabelly gangs and the beanie babies, and also showcased the introduction of Trump Cat and the two Trump Ducks into the family which was depicted on a screen.



There was a memorial to Mel’s father James in one part of the museum and a special room that showcased Mel’s original hero and villain teams, and of course the screens that showed the introduction of Corey to the dynamic as well as the formation of the giantmicrobes gang, they all had fun and played games before having lunch.



Which was followed by the introduction of all the palm pals, Aiyido, Anglo and all the squishmallow and snackle gang members along with Piff - and to Piff’s delight there was a whole exhibit dedicated to his Youtube adventures and there were screens showing ‘The Piff Show’ and all of the Youtube videos Piff had made, as Suku (his twin and biggest fan) came out. ‘Hi ya Piffy, do you like this exhibit? I asked Mel if I could install it just for you.’ ‘Oh Suku, you really do know how to make me a happy fish.’ ‘I even made a special art deco bathtub just for you.’ ‘Thank you so very much.’ ‘You’re welcome.’



Piff showed everyone around the exhibit that was dedicated to him and even showed some funny videos such as the ones where he laughed at an ‘AI Slop’ sign and did funny impersonations, he even made some seaweed cakes to share for afternoon tea and he even showed Tangie a special room dedicated to his relationship with her as they danced together. He smiled when he saw all of Mel’s online universe pals attending the new exhibit including Grace, Mikey, Serena, Justin, and Adam Hughes. ‘Oh my goodness, it is the great Piff!’ ‘And it’s Adam Hughes!’ ‘The one and only.’



They all looked at the videos Piff had made and even got to see the short film and action movie he had made, and they even got to a special room dedicated to the friendship Mel had with Zara. They had all sorts of fun and even played together, when they had finished playing they all bought merchandise in the gift shop and Piff even bought a plushie of himself to give to Tangie. Piff even told everyone he had overcome his fear of deep water and fish-monsters after he had a dream in which the monster from his nightmare was nice to him.



After doing that they all explored the museum for a couple of hours before leaving it and exploring the city and walking around for a bit, followed by having a fish themed party for Piff and also for Mel as all of her team members were there in attendance. When the party was finished they all decided to head home so they headed over to an exit portal and jumped through it, jumping through the portal took them to the online universe realm selection area where all of the online realm selections were before they entered an exit portal - this time the exit portal took them all the way out out of the screen.



They jumped out of the exit portal and arrived at Nile Road just in time for dinner as they all gathered around and Piff made them some dumplings and seaweed wraps for dinner, after dinner Mel emailed Jill about their adventure and they all celebrated that everything was back to normal, and that they wouldn’t have to deal with such issues ever again. Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish and they had a karaoke session, afterwards they had an ASMR session that included sniffing bathbombs and making fish themed crafts which was followed by the duo getting ready for bed.



Corey put on his bat pajamas as Oats put on his pink night-gown as they all thanked Mel and said goodnight to each-other before brushing their teeth. Piff initiated the closedown sequence which consisted of an anthropomorphic pufferfish wearing pajamas yawning and brushing his teeth as a daytime background morphed into a night time background and a message saying ‘We are all going to take a dive into the ocean of dreams but we will be back tomorrow, we hope you will join us again. Goodnight to you all, love from all your friends on the Piff Channel’ ‘You have been watching the Piff Channel. Right now we are all going on a mystical expedition to dreamland, so we are ending our day session with you. Goodnight to you all, love from Piff.’



Piff jumped into bed as he kissed Tangie and they laid down together and he gave a special goodnight speech which was…’We have all had a magical adventure today and we hope you have all enjoyed it, good night to all of you, love from Piff and all his friends on the Piff Channel’. Anglo turned off the light and they all drifted off to sleep.



As they drifted off to sleep they all had sweet dreams including Piff who dreamed of the museum trip he and his friends had all been on and even of showing off his own exhibit, and thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up.

This story is another Deviantart commemoration story but I have written this one to celebrate my account coming back and to celebrate 14 years of Deviantart in general - I have been in the Deviantart community for over 14 years and through many trials and obstacles I have prevailed, evolved and made many friends and even have had several of my characters develop a fandom and also am glad to have never given up on writing.



Yes I have had many falsehoods made against me - but all of them were proven to indeed be false, this story discusses a lot of the ‘eras’ of my online career including my awkward Drmusic2-1 (or Drmusic2, as some people misspell it as) era, I consider a lot of the bad stuff that happened back there to be non-canon because in-universe there is a twisted parody universe (will I ever write about the daloli-verse again? Hardly likely because most of not all of the cult groups have been wiped out in previous daloli-verse installments and of course the daloli-verse was in general altered into being a were-aykroyd centric universe in the Aykroyd-verse saga, so I will not be bringing them back. No matter how many times they beg), that Nathan as in my character was not even a part of (it was the actress that the cult members brainwashed into being in a series of bad parody skits and movies, that posed as me that these so called people are thinking of).



But nonetheless I have survived it all and evolved from it, and I hope you will enjoy reading this story as much as I have writing it, so stay tuned for more.
