How I ended up married

At 27 (2022) I wasn't overly successful with women but had my moments. I then inherited from my last remaining relative, an old office building 5 floors outside the business area. It was dated and at first, I thought I should just knock it down. Not overly familiar with the city, having just moved there after inheriting. I happened to overhear there was a major shortage of rental accommodations in the city. So, I'd another look at the office building and as an engineer by training I saw it could be converted fairly easily. But it would take time, but also realized by the time it was ready there could be an oversupply of rentals. So, I would need to make it stand out from the rest. With that aim I'd it gutted, and renovations started. All modern fixtures installed including two elevators, one at the front a private one for my personal use. The other at added to the rear larger than normal (wider doors) to allow tenants to move furniture to their floors without using the stairs. Which I would've had to widen, the basement was turned into the building laundry. I also had a section in the basement as well as the three floors above, hence the personal elevator. Each floor my apartment was half the size of the others, but including the basement area it was over twice their size overall. Once finished there was still a shortage of rentals, I hired an agent (self-employed) to lease the apartments. Mainly because she 51 said she could get 20 to 25% more than I thought I could get. All the apartments were quickly leased, the agent taking one herself with her daughter 25. She worked via her phone and out of her apartment, so was fairly easy for me to contact. I kept meeting her daughter in the laundry and we were friendly I asked her out. She accepted and after dating for a while we became lovers and finally marrying November 2024. Her mother moved in with us after the wedding, I got my wife pregnant in March this year.
