More Tales From Piff’s Warped Imagination

Sometimes we wonder what we think about during the day or during the night when we go to sleep and Corey and Oats often wondered that about Piff, Piff was a pufferfish who was a viral internet celebrity with a wild imagination, and recently he had blown his fans away with a funny comedy variety show as well as an anthology story series who made to tell his friends. Nobody knew what he was thinking but he often had dark thoughts in his head he kept from others and sometimes had trouble sleeping due to visions he had in his sleep.



One day after morning tea he gathered everyone together and he started to tell the stories, as the Tales from The Crypt style intro sequence planned and Piff began to tell the scary stories, the first story he told was based on a nightmare he had, as he told the story he recalled that in the nightmare he was in a room with all his friends watching an old sci fi monster movie on tv with a fish-monster in it, he recalled drifting off to sleep in the nightmare and dreaming of the fish-monster chasing him throughout the house. ‘Oh Piff, did you dream the fish monster was going to eat you?’ ‘Oh yes and what a scary fish monster it is.’



The story came to life as they were transported to the room from the store, a television in the background was showing a monster movie marathon of sorts and Piff was afraid they’d show the monster and the monster would come for him - as the room began to fill up with water and Piff felt afraid of what was happening. ‘In the nightmare the room filled up with water and I tried to escape but no one was there to hear my cry, I felt like I was going to die or likely to get eaten.’ The fish-monster emerged from the television screen and tried to attack everyone but Piff realized it was time to face his fear which he did by making a giant plug hole materialize in the middle of the room and he plugged it up.



After that story was over he told a story about a cursed bookstore that was possessed by the G from the intro of the Goosebumps television series and he explained how he dreamed about it possessing people like in the show’s opening and he showed the story taking place as he looked around the bookstore, seeing people get possessed and turning into monsters. They had lunch as he told them another spooky story.



In this next spooky story Piff was recalling a nightmare he had about a strange old bedroom that resembled the one Mel had in England, and he talked about a strange shadowy creature flying through the windows of the bedroom trying to take him and all his friends away into a dark underworld city occupied by monsters. Which was followed by a story about a cursed amusement park that turned nightmarish at night.



“These are really good horror stories, Piff.”



“I know, they’re straight from my mind.”



Followed by a story inspired by Poltergeist in which a family of fish lived in a haunted aquarium house, they all had afternoon tea together as Tangie commented on how good a scary storyteller Piff was. ‘Piffikins, you are really good at making scary stories.” ‘I know.’ ‘I am glad you were able to face your fear of that movie that scared you.’



“Well it was easy, the fish-monster was an actor.”



“Really? You should really show that movie to me sometime.”



Piff then told the story of someone who posted naughty content on bluesky about weight gain only to suffer a curse where he slowly turned into a grotesque monster that ate gainer account users. ‘Always be careful what you post or you might end up eating not only your own words but other users’s words as well’ and then told a story of a local aquarium being infested with mutagenic ooze that turned them into monster fish.



“Your imagination sure is an odd but interesting place.”



“Yeah. Do you ever think you’d let us take a look at it?”



“Oh I might but I don’t think you could handle it.”



“Oh I think we could.”



This was followed by the gang having dinner together as Piff told them one more scary story before they all gathered together, Mel emailed Jill all about their adventure as they all played games before Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish together. They had a karaoke session and had all sorts of fun.



“You have to do more of these stories, Piff.”



“Maybe I will make a book one day.”



Piff then showed Tangie the fish-monster movie that scared him and told her all about the actor who played the fish-monster, which was followed by a relaxation time together and they all thanked Mel for their adventure and said goodnight before getting ready for bed with a special routine.



Their bedtime routine consisted of Corey putting on his bat pajamas and Oats putting on his princess night-gown before brushing their teeth and going into the bedroom together as they all picked friends to snuggle up with and jumped into bed. They jumped into bed and snuggled up as Anglo turned off the light and they all drifted off as they laid down and had sweet dreams as they did so.



Piff even dreamed of writing his own horror novels which he sold and all of his best friends were there to buy them. And thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up so stay tuned.
